you want crocus sativus the autumn crocus or saffron crocus.

I looked into this
once.
Apparently it is tough to verify that you have the correct species of
crocus,
So you could pay a lot of money for the wrong species.
I remain
interested myself, so if you learn aything you would like to share, I
would
appreciate hearing it.
