Kohlrabi War

	
Kohlrabi Kings:

If there is some kind of kohlrabi war going on, you can  count me in. 
Hopefully we won't get kicked off the pumpkin group for talking about this
evil disease.  

This past year, my first year with the giant rabi's, I started a measuring
system to try to estimate the weight of the specimens.  If some of you
other growers would be interesting in compiling data we may some good
numbers.  

What I used:  
	Using a string with black marks on it, I measured the circumference around
the top and around the side horizontal to the soil line at the mid point of
the buldge-not the biggest point.   I had data for about 6 average to good
sized bulbs.  Then with the computer plotted the total "girth" as I called
it against the weight.  It seemed to yield a pretty consistent curve-at
least for six sets of data.  

Let me know if anyone is interested in pursuing this.  I think it would be
fun.
