Learning Experience

Hey everyone,

Have had my plants in the ground for 5 days on 2 of them and 4 days
on the other 3. Put weed-ex material over the mound to help heat the
soil. Cut hole for plants too small and just about cooked my plants the
first day. They were wilted bad. Quickly cut larger hole and watered
to get them hydrated again. They were perked up by the next day. I was
given advice on the mailing list to plant in one week after seeding. I
think I will next year. Plants got a little too big for transplanting.
They had good size third leaf when transplanted. Next year want to
transplant 1 week later and have 1st true leaf just peeking out. I
think the plant will do better this way. I didn't harden off my plants
enough this year. I have really had a learning experience the first 5
days. Guess the rest of the year will be just as educational.
