PNWGPG- WOW!!! Jack and Sherry La Rue

Hi All,

I just received our family membership for the PACIFIC NORTHWEST GIANT
PUMPKIN GROWERS. I must confess that I have been rather tardy on getting in
my application. I sure don't won't to miss the chance for competition if we
can get a giant pumpkin and gourd(of course) growing well.

I not only received our card and some seeds but the most warm, informative
and sharing hand written letter from Jack and Sherry LaRue. They had lived
in our exact area for 8 years. They shared all the things that they
encounter d when growing the giant pumpkin while in this area. 

Wow!!! Such sharing is great and much appreciated by all of us new people.
In tole painting they say "Sharing is Caring". I have certainly seen a lot
of sharing on this list from everyone. This is a nice place to be in
cyberspace.

Keep up the good work and Happy Memorial Day to all of you.

Thanks again to Jack and Sherry. Wow!!! I certainly hope to meet you guys
at the weigh offs. Sure hope it will be better than last year. We were in
the Spokane Hospital when I read about the thousand pounder. It was also my
birthday too. It will be better this year.
