I put mine on top a heating mat....if you are using 4 inch peat pots you
really have to watch for roots popping out the botton in 6 to 10 days ...I
try and stick mine in the ground if all is ready......but this year I plan
on potting them up in gallon after they sprout in the 4"peats....its
basically don't hinder root growth in any way..........if roots are popping
out the bottom of a peat and then drying or getting burned your not giving
it the perfect conditions to its highest potential .......and in competion
you'll need ever edge you can get.................brock
