The Southern Pumpkin Growers Association supports growers in the
Southeast United States plus the deep south coastal states. The states
are as follows:
West Virginia
Virginia
District of Columbia
North Carolina
South Carolina
Georgia
Florida
Tennessee
Alabama
Louisiana
Texas
We are not associated with any particular weigh-off site but collect
weights from any southern site plus the Altoona, PA GPC site, for our
Southern Cup Competition. Weights recorded through Extension Office
Agents are also included (with documentation). Weights from any other
site source must be brought to our attention up to one week after the
GPC weigh-offs.
We also maintain a Top 100 list and ask for any weights that apply be
made know to the SPGA for inclusion.
Southern Pumpkins is our magazine dedicated to the Southern grower. At
this time it has a limited membership (100 "subscriptions"). If we find
the financial support for an expanded membership we will consider that
at that time. Support is through a donation system.
