Please add the following:
Beaverton , Oregon, 6 miles west of Portland, OR
Forest Grove, Oregon, 16 miles west of Portland, OR
Last, but far from least, Kailua, Hawaii
In the spirit of the Southern Pumpkin Growers, seeds from myself, and some
provided to me by Ray Waterman, Farmer Gus' drawing and the PNWPG are being
grown at the University Urban Garden Center and at the Job Corps campus.
There may well finally be an entry for Hawaii in Duncan's record list.
I heard of some talk about them crossing a pumpkin with a coconut to get a
pumpkin with a hard shell so they can enter and win the pumpkin boat race
but
that's another story....
There was also something about Marv playing a ukulele and singing to ZooDoo
but I must admit I didn't really understand it....
