Bill your predicament made me wonder if anyone has tried putting the two
ends back together and taping them to see if the will heal back
together???...I would imagine Immediately after the crack would be best...I
have grown some 500s on split vines.....the problem is its not a perfect
situation.........you might cut like you said and create two secondary
mains and have a pumpkin on each......who knows what this radical prunning
could discover!!!....brock
