Hi Ernest,
Mike in Beaverton, OR (suburb just west of Portland)
Started seeds for the following on 5-10 in peat pots placed inside plastic
bags and placed on a heating pad set to the second lowest setting:
1) Andersen 977 (My guess for 1998's most heavily planted seed in the
world, a world record in and of itself.)
2) Bobier 627 (on 5-13 p.m. this seed was first to break ground)
3) D. Geerts 741.5
4) Holland 817
5) J. LaRue 916 (on 5-14 a.m. this seed was second to break ground)
6) S. LaRue 1016
7) Zehr 1061
8) Cross of 1061 x 1006, weight and grower unknown, came from Ray
Waterman
I am hoping that the rain will give way this weekend to the promised sun
breaks.
The plots are tilled but they are too wet to work in.
Mike
