I am from Illinois originally and transplanted into Huntsville Al. as
of December this year.
I am lurking because I do not have a pumpkin patch of giant pumkins.
Just wanted to see what this is all about. I planted five hills of Jack
O Lantern pumpkins which probably would look really silly propped next
to the big guys you are all growing.
How long does it take to grow a decent pumkin of those proportions?
What happens to the giants after they are grown. I can just picture
these giant pumkins in my yard with no place to go.
