The pumpkin plant seems to have recovered nicely from the cracked vine
that occured earlier this month. The secondary vine just behind the
section I cut off began to grow rapidly to replace the main vine. A new
photo showing the whole plant as well as my youngest pumpkin helper
(Amy, age 18 mos.) is on the May Log section of my web page. Scroll down
to the bottom for the latest photo.
