Mike,
You are experiencing the joy of the #627.5, and yes, it does have a sister
pumpkin, the #558 Hester grown only 6 feet away. The #627.5 has produced 2
pumpkins over 800 pounds, but both split in a dill ring, 3 more over 600
pounds as well as my #598 from 1997. Charistics include exceptional
vegetative growth and pumpkins that blow up due to too fast a growth rate, but
if they stay together you will be happy.
