Your vine measurements sound right on target with my plants here in FL. I
started the germination process 3/4, seeds seeds began to break ground 3/9,
planted in field 3/11. Photos taken 3/30 show several plants with vines about
30 inches, total plant length at three feet or so. The Andersen 977 was very
slow to vine, but remained bushy with large leaves. It was no where close to
vining at 30 inches at one month, but has certainly caught up now.
When I look back at those photos, it's hard to imagine the plants were once
that small, and just a short time ago.
