Signature Line is Important

The point of my message was that NEITHER the Sender's name or his
E-address is EVER shown at the top of messages for a high percentage of
internet folks. That is the reason most knowledgeable mailing lists
include the name of the list in the from or subject line just as
Pumpkins does.
Here is the complete heading of your message:

The sender's name is always at the top, or atleast his email address is.

I have my Netscape Mail set to show all the headings, but those lines
are gone before the mail gets to my ISP he tells. I understand that is
true for all ISPs in Louisville. But a signature line solves that.
A few folks on Pumpkins sent me mail via Pumpkins wanting a private
reply, but I could not reply because they did not give the e-address.
