Rick
thanks for the prayer we really appreciate it!!! Surgery went very well and took about 7 hours. He was awake and could squeeze my hand to answer different questions . could not talk do to all the tubes. No surprises during the surgery so that is good also.
We are from the great state of Iowa and live on the river on the east side in the town of Clinton. As of 930 tonight out of the 16 seeds i planted 13 have sprouted and are now in 4" peat pots. Some had sprouts about 2" long and others about 1/4" . all were placed in pots filled with potting soil and are being kept in a large rubbermaid container with pad under it to keep it warm!!!

We started our seeds monday this week. Soaked them for 4 hours thenplaced in
zip lock bags and placed suspended inside a cooler with heating pad on low.
Temp is monitored and stays at about 81 to 85 degrees. I slide the lid open
or close depending on the temp. >>Dan and Beth
What state do you live in? How will you handle the seedling til it is warm
enough to plant them outside.
...I'll say a prayer for your Pop.
