how long will it last

this is probably going to be the most ridiculous thing you guys here from
me, (at least i sure hope it is anyway!), but, about a month a go i
germinated a seed, just to test out some germinating technique, and to do a
practice run. The seed germinated, and people at work wanted to check it
out, since they all new i grew AG's. So i brought the plant in, in it's
peat pot. Well, it's still in the peat pot, and now it's got quite a few
leaves on it. It's in a really sunny window, that gets plenty of heat.
I'm just wondering how long this is going to last like this. Is it
eventually going to choke it'self and die?, or will it continue to live and
just be a miniature plant? Obviously i'm not expecting to grow a pumpkin
at work, but i was wondering how long it would stay alive.
