Re: Newbie: Hello!

Hi Mike, this is Roy in s/e wyoming. If you look back in the archives of
this site for Feb/March you will see a buzz coming from talk of a 1400 lb
pumpkin grown just west of Chicago!!!!! There is doubt as to wheather or
not the pumpkin really weighed this as it was just measured & not weighed.
BUT I have talked many times over the phone with Rocky (the grower) & no
matter what was said about him I would take what he said as the truth-- he
is a straight shooter. If after you look through the archives you have any
questions; write me & I can fill you in. Dill's is probably good for
seeds--- I wouldn't go through P&P
as I question their character. There are many people on the list who will
give you " almost free " seeds. i.e. Bob Marcellious & Rocky who sent me
their seeds & I'm planting next week in my two hills --- although it did
SNOW here today so ????
