I've started a seed in the back garden of a nearby
medium-care facility. (Darn good seed too - a Mettler 865.)
The old folks there are most enthusiastic about the project,
though I'm not sure what actual help they can actually give
apart from the odd watering. I'll check in on it once a
week, anyway.
But once when the vine starts its rapid growth, and the baby
pumpkins start appearing, I know it's going to give them a
lot of of enjoyment.
