Jane,
Go out and plant them now. You say the danger of frost is past, so don't
waste another minute.
If you are using a peat pot, just set it on the soil and mound soil around
the pot. If not, be as gentle as possible in removing the plant. Water and
you are on your way!
If there is a danger of frost, go out and cover them up no matter how busy
you are or late it is!
Sounds like you are off to a great start as mine have only two leaves!
Ps. Can you please send me any Irish recipes for pumpkins that I can post on
my site?
