On April 24th, I wrote that I had just dug up an old horse shoe
while turning over my patch.  Mine is hanging near the rain gauge.
 
Is this a coincidence or what?  
 
One question.... Should it be hung like a smile or like a frown? 
Mine has been hung like a frown,  and I am wondering if that
explains why it is so dry here:)
 
It rained about just over an inch today, and the temperature was
around 60 degrees.
