Good news from california

My pumpkin plants in california are doing great. I always plant early,
from mid april, inside the house in peat pots and transplant my plants
outside in the begining of May. My plants have taken off and and fruit
should be set in mid June. Planting early is always the way to go when
temps reach 110 in the summer. I hope this encourages growers in
California so there can be more competitive growers in the state.
