Neat new way to germinate seeds

I got desperate on finding a more convenient way to germinate my seeds, so I took a cooler (like a 6pk cooler) and put in a plastic quart jar of very hot tap water, sealed. Then I put in my seeds in the plastic bags with the moist paper towels on the other side of the cooler. About every 6 hours I replace the water in the jar, and those seeds germinated in no time. I put in 3 seeds:
Freeman 655
Reynolds 597
Reynolds 650
and got 100 % germination...will put them in the ground tomorrow to replace 3 that didnt make the transplant.

I also found something else that really helped my seedlings make the transition to the garden. I bought tomato "boosters" (bases) and used them for the pumpkins. Put in the pumpkin, put the tomato booster over it (it has a 2-3" diameter hole in the top) and in 3 days those pumpkins were popping out of the top and getting new sets of leaves. The ones that I didnt use the boosters for didnt survive the wind well, if at all, and havent grown much or just plain died, so I have to replace them. Has anyone else tried tomato boosters? Im gonna use them all the time from now on.
