        Don't change your hobby, I live in Eastern Canada, my plants are
about the same in size to yours. Look at the records of the big ones. Not 
many grown in the desert. Hang in there, you can do it. Its cool in all of
Canada a lot of growers here (myself not included) are the record holders.
