Re: Yellow Leaves

Big Al,
Hey old buddy! I'm in the process of planting regular pumpkins on the farm
and have been going through the mail fast at night. May have blown off the
e-mail concerning this. Run it by me again. Sometimes yellow spots are just a
genetic thing , I have seen yellow spots develop on leaves after a plant
suffers root damage from standing water in the root zone or running a
rototiller too close and clipping the leaves. If it is some sort of disease,
Spray with a fungicide containing chlorothalonil. Phytotoxicity from
sevin..........you never know. Most people over apply it. One tablespoon per
gallon and just a very quick and light spray over the plant will get cucumber
beetles...no more is needed now. Good growing weather is coming for us
now.......should snap us out of alot of this crap.
