Just to say thanks to all who are encouraging my efforts. I know that
pumpkins are not grown much around here as the climate is not really
suitable. We get too much rain in proportion to sun and warmth. However it
is my first try and having 6 healthy plants growing, albeit slowly, gives
me great pleasure. I do enjoy keeping up to date with everyone's
achievments and occaisional disappointments and I would like everyone to
know that in a private e-mail I advised pumpkin master to go to Alaska for
a short break to build snowmen and cool his hot head. To date he has not
replied so perhaps he has done so.
