     Hi Jane Sealy.  How are you.  I was not trying to be mean to you but 
being realistic is always a good idea.  But if you get a lot of pleasure out 
of growing small, slow growing plants that don't get enough warmth or sun 
that is fine.  Go ahead.  Have fun.  But you probable don't need the advice 
for growing the big one either.  I right now have the warmth and weather and 
have vines 10 feet with pumpkins starting to grow, it has nothing to do with 
my being a good pumpkin grower, it has everything to do with weather and the 
advice I get from here.  If you take that away from me I would have no way 
to grow good pumpkins, so I am not going to Alaska, but you might want to, 
you could probably grow a better pumpkin there :)  Just kidding, and have a 
good growing season how ever small it may be
