Hi everyone,
I haven't written much this summer, but now that I have
the time I would like to let you know that there is another pumpkin grower who
will soon be moving up through the ranks......His name is Christopher Clark
Nelson and he was born on November 2nd. He weighed 6 pounds and 4 tenths
of an ounce. Not sure what the OTT was but length was 19 and 1/2
inches. He is doing very well and looking forward to planting seeds
in the spring.
On another note... I grew a 444 pounder this year from a
991 Hunt seed . Thanks Jon. This was a great plant and if we had
better weather I think it would have done much better. I did not make it to a
weigh-off, but It was weighed on certified scales.
