sprinklers

hi, i would like to ask the group , what type of sprinklers they use and is there a best type  or model for approx 4000 sq. ft of patch. i use a impulse now but it seems to put most water on the outter areas and less in center .i would like to improve this for next year  any help would be appreciated . thanx craig
