 Yo Scott,
I put a lot of manure on my patch each year but at the end of the
growing season I put 50lb hydrated lime on the patch a couple of months
before the manure goes on.Fresh manure and lime dont mix,it locks the
nutrients up for months on end. Also adding lime and fertiliser together
locks up the nutrients, always give a month between them.Lime takes time to
be incorporated into the ground so do it in the autumn(fall to you).My
couple of cents worth.
