Storing Seeds

Hi,
Beth is right about storing seeds in the refrig. They should last 3-5 years.
One thing on freezing seeds, make sure that the moisture content of the
seeds is down near 12-15 percent before freezing them. Let them dry pretty
well before freezing.

<You put them in the fridge in an airtight container with a dessicant -
<either silica gel or uncooked rice or something like that. Cool and <dry
is the best combination of conditions. Throwing them in loose so <they
could absorb ambient moisture would be bad. Putting them <in ,an ,airtight
container with a dessicant is good. The fridge is <GOOD, with that one
qualification.
