You make a good point about foil losing heat very quickly...........I guess it probably wouldn't have much of an effect as far as heat retention goes.
Come to think of it................If you actually read the instruction book that comes with a microwave, it tells you that you can microwave a whole chicken. It then states that the way to prevent the tips of the chicken wings from becoming burnt up and crispy is to cover them with aluminum foil.......................(anyone who doubts that this is true........please read your microwave book BEFORE commenting) so I guess the foil could protect the seeds.
