Richard is right, what is 10 o,clock now will probably be 7 or 8 this summer......no big deal, I lose the sun every evening after 6-7 & never sweat it.......Paul

i don't really know (they wouldn't bother me, my hose blocks the patch for an hour or so), but i would caution you to think about where the sun is in the sky during the growing season.  Those trees (if they are making the shadow until 10 am now) may not even block the sunlight most of the growing season.
