Re: Shredding leaves


what is the big deal about leaves.  Are they really that nutrient rich or do 
we only lay them down to make the soil more managible.  I know before plants 
and trees drop them they try to suck as many nutrients out of them as 
possible, trying to only drop cellulose skeletons.
