Re: Last clone report...time for me to relax...at last

  MADMAN
I am here with you mentally on growing these clones especially with keeping
the plants alive for future pollination's. The clone its self is a way to keep a pollen line alive for ever, say the 567.5 Mombert or the like. One day these older PROVEN seeds will just be a thing of memory but as a clone they can be kept alive as male pollinators for what it seems EVER.. I know as a beginning grower my odds of seeing an actual 567.5 Mombert plant or a 935 Lloyd are about impossible BUT if someone were to clone these plants as male pollinators we could be crossing plants with the original pollen from these plants ten years after the last seed was to be grown. Those of you who still have some of the GREAT seeds please consider cloning a few plants off of your seeds at the end of the season so that the seed line doesn't die with the plant !!! MADMAN you are truly a pioneer and thanks for giving us a new insight as to what these plants can do !!! who would had figured pumpkins as a perennial....
Good luck all for next year !!!
