Flooding would probably cause a "growth explosion" if your fruit were at very
good growth rates already. Even if your fruit is just growing 10 lbs a day,
a jump to 20 lbs a day would probably split it as well. I blew up a fruit in
this manner this past season. I had a plant to spare, so I did it as an
expirament. 15 lbs of fertilizer and 2000 galons of water dont mix. Just my
observance.
