Pumpkin Thanks
I am thankful to and thankful for Howard Dill. And to Duncan McAlpine, our
listowner, and Chris Lindsey, for Mallorn Computing.
I am especially thankful to and thankful for Marv Meisner, Shellie Cramer,
and Brett Hester, without whom I might not ever have started down this
pumpkin path to the blissful craziness I’ve found.
I am thankful to and thankful for the good people who keep the pumpkin
associations going with all the good events and newsletters and seed
distributions (and I remain thankful to and for those who have kept good
associations going in the past, even if the time has come for those
associations to end or curtail their activities).
I am thankful to and for all the pumpkinheads I’ve had the good fortune to
meet on the internet and in actual, physical space. I have gained deep and
abiding friendships with many of you, which I do and will always cherish. I
learn much from all of you; I am especially indebted to the heavy hitters
who cheerfully offer the rest of us their knowledge. Pumpkindom is filled
with colorful and wise characters, and I’m grateful to and for every one of
you for enriching my life.
Here’s hoping each of you today and always enjoys warmth, happiness,
abundance, and scrumptious pumpkin desserts. Happy Thanksgiving!
Beth
