Ever had a soil test done?
Ok, i know there's a bunch of you out there that have done a soil test
sometime for your pumpkins. just a reminder for you that i'm collecting soil
test results and compiling them so that you can compare to other growers. i
would like to also say a big thank you to those that have already contributed.
I have over 100 tests on file now. please send any and all results you can to
me at farm@eznet.net , and i will send you a copy of the updated file with
your results in it. I have results from some top growers (checkons, pukos,
and rivard just to name a couple) for you to compare with. if any of you know
some of the "heavy hitters" (as well as any other growers that have done soil
tests) that are not on this list, please try to send the message along to
them. there are some soils that i'm sure we would all like info on. this
project will become incorporated into the aggc later this winter, when mike's
genetic workload dies down, so your input is greatly appreciated.
