RE: How long does it take to dry the seeds?

Gloria,
Take your seeds and spread them out in a tray and put a fan nearby, set at
low speed. Move the seeds around daily to allow them to dry evenly. It
will take about 3-4 weeks. You know when the seeds are dry when they start
to loose their outer 'clear skin membrane'.......its like skin coming off
from a sunburn. I generally allow a few weeks after this to make sure
they are thoroughly dry before I tightly package them in a glass jar or
container.

P.S. watch for mice.....they just love those seeds this time of the year

out
to dry? This is the first time I've done this and they are spread out all
over my kitchen table . I rinsed them in water w/a little clorox and they
look good. Thanks, Gloria<
