Guinness Record?
The newest water sport - As told by Jack LaRue
Guinness record attempt this weekend.
The 955 will be carved at Mikes Beach Resort on Saturday the 9th of November
at 10:00AM. Mikes Beach Resort is on highway 101 twelve miles north of
Hoodsport, WA. The 955 will be carved at a depth of about 75 feet. There will
be media present from Longview WA. They will film the event top side and if
everything comes together underwater video will also be taken. Just for fun
Jason, one of the carvers, is planning an attempt to launch a pumpkin from the
bottom of Puget Sound. He hopes to get the pumpkin several feet into the air.
This is accomplished by filling the pumpkin like a balloon and releasing it.
Rumor has it that pumpkins can clear the surface by as much as forty feet.
