I noticed the book chart was different than some of the charts &
spreadsheets on the net. Can someone give me the most up-to-date estimate
weights on these OTT numbers? Sorry the numbers aren't very big, I grew 3
plants in about 300-400 sq ft and in wooden boxes and another pollinator
plant in a lawn cart, breaking all the rules of AG growing. They at least
have good genetics. Maybe next year, I can plant one in actual ground...
OTT=255"
(1062 Rivard 01 Female [parents 914 Wentzell 98 selfed] x 771.6 Rockwell 00
male [parents 815 Checkon x 935 Lloyd])
This grew low & wide like a blob, pale orange, small leaves, small
sunfish-shaped seeds.
OTT=202"
(594 Smith 01 Female [parents 791 Glasier (567.5 Mombert self & sibbed) x
723 Bobier] x 1062 Rivard 01 [parents 914 Wentzell 98 selfed]
This grew smooth & round, jack o lantern orange color. Plant started with a
flat vine & by the time I set a good fruit on a normal secondary, plant only
had 50-60 leaves and fruit grew on blacktop driveway.
OTT=191"@30 days (this grew to 42 days but didn't measure it when I culled
it--in pieces)
(1020 Papez Female [parents 846 Calai x 1056.5 Dueck (935 Lloyd x 825.5
Shymanski)] x 1062 Rivard 01)
This was a nice golden orange color & well ribbed in its young age, long &
high, kinda like a tall Howden Biggie laid down or tall watermelon. This
plant started flat/double/triple, pruned heavily til I got a normal vine;
this was in a very bad spot up against a fence when culled. The most
agressive plant I had this year as well as the tallest & largest leaves.
This plant grew wherever it wanted, including up/thru a patch of corn, over
a blacktop driveway, and under a parked "currently-off-the-road" car.
I also have some seeds from my 203lb pumpkin from 01. (Sorry, grown the same
"wrong" way.) It may have some "classic" big-name genetics from the
mid-90's. Pic of the carved pumpkin can be seen here:

It's about as orange as, well, an orange, maybe even a little darker. The
pic was taken at night so it looks even darker. It was killed by frost at 49
days old. The parentage is a little sketchy on one side, see this link for
the father:

The mother is the 2nd seed in this pic and the father the 4th seed in same

Anybody interested in seeds, please e-mail me at korney19 AT Adelphia DOT
net for my address; if you don't want to take the time to buy bubblepacks &
postage on the outside & inside, you can Paypal me to cover supplies,
envelopes, bubblepacks & postage. I'm very generous with AG seeds, you won't
be disappointed. I will do this until I run out of envelopes & bubblepacks.
Bulk/large amounts of a seed should be available depending on number of
requests. If you remind me, I'll also include some Datura/Angel's Trumpet
seeds which are listed as a beneficial companion plant to pumpkins,
providing you promise not to use them for hallucinogenic or Shaman purposes.
I will also include some seeds of each to any of my heirloom tomato
customers, I have nearly 100 varieties. For those I promised tomato or
pepper seeds, you should be receiving them within a couple weeks. And NO, I
don't SELL AG seeds.
Thanks.
Mark
