RE: black spot disease--LEAVES

Hi
I know its a little off the pumpkin subject, but I have never been able to
grow tomato plants in my garden which is in the "shadow" of a very large
walnut tree, now I know why!!
now back on subject, I have not been able to grow AG's bigger than 155lbs
despite best efforts.
I thought it was just bad seeds, but maybe the walnut does has an effect.
does anyone on the list grow both near to each other?

Regards

Lawrence
