Wheat Ridge is a suburb of Denver.

How about growers in northern California? The Bay Area is slightly
further south than Denver. Good trivia question, who is the
southernmost member of the 1000 pound club? (Among northern
hemisphere growers, anyway...)

Hi Folks

So far I have only found one person who lives outside the 600 mile corridor
centre of which is lattitude 44:59:30N and is a member of Club 1000, He is Joe
scherber who lives in Wheat Ridge, Colorado which is approximately 348 miles
south.
If anyone can give me the Height above sea level of Wheat Ridge I would be
grateful, my interest is in weather patterns, I suspect that Joe's pumpkin
patch is quite high up as he is near to denver and possibly gets protection
from the mountains. If he is on the list I would be interested in contacting
him.
