Because I received an off-list query, I think I'd better clarify a
coupla things for all you creative types out there concerning the
Pumpkin Poetry contest.
I am the creator of it, but I am NOT a judge.
So I'm not gonna make decisions about length or topic or much of
anything except the closing date and who may not enter (Mr Zunino and
his family, Mr Dudley and his family, or Mr McIntyre and his family, me
and my family, alas!).
If the judges think your poem is too long, they'll vote for a shorter
poem.
If they think it doesn't have enough to do with pumpkins, they'll vote
for one that's more relevent. We got us some good judges, for the second
year in a row.
If you have other questions, feel free to ask, on-list or off
<fishrap@earthlink.net>
We're gonna have some
GREAT prizes (Thanks to George Webster, PLUS I have a hint of an
anonymous donor coming thru with a DY-NO-MITE prize, and we're just
getting started). It's gonna be a whole lotta fun!
Kathie
