Pumpkin Poem

**Sung to the tune... "Santa Claus is Coming to Town"

Oh. You'd better watch out, you'd better not cry,

Your pumpkin seeds you had laid out to dry,

Are being eaten slowly, by a mouse!

They taste so good, like surf and turf,

An awesome cross, about a thousand pounds worth,

Are being eaten slowly, by a mouse!

He saw them laying lovely,

With pumpkin guts removed,

All the hard work had been done for him,

They were just his breakfast food!

Oh. You'd better watch out, you'd better not cry,

Your pumpkin seeds you had laid out to dry,

Are being eaten slowly, by a mouse!

Well, that morning you noticed half of them gone

You left a few there, laced with D Con,

That mouse had just sampled his last!

Saved some of the seeds,

Sent them out in the mail,

Tradin' and hoardin', I hope one will prevail,

Winter time is here to stay!!!

Oh. He's making a list, the Checkons are on twice,

Hoping for seeds, that make the fruit nice,

Really nice and heavy, this year!!!
