Mike,
Looks to me like you've nailed it. Some of the most basic questions go
unanswered.
Drastic pruning, for example, do we have any idea how much is too much?
Pete & Cindi seem to be testing the limits, and it works for them, but
if taking off most of the secondaries is such a good idea, where do we
stop? Has anyone tried cutting off every other leaf, for example, but
leaving the vine with its root nodes - will the remaining leaves
compensate for our destruction?
