Congratulations on your successful first year!
I don't think the list is having problems. Growers are up to their elbows in
buckets of seeds.
I wish I could answer your seed question. In our case, the fruit was
harvested on 10-1 and kept outdoors day and night (in balmy California)
until 10-31. Maybe 3 out of every 4 seeds are empty shells. Wish I knew.
