The Season's End...
The season's over and the patch is already sprouting a cover
crop. It was a good year for growing pumpkins and the pumpkin
gods smiled on my patch and my pumpkins.
Now that thousand pounders are common place, I can finally say
that I grew a couple - after 7 years of trying. It's a heavy
responsibility that I don't take lightly... Now of course, the
real challenge is to grow a 1,500 pounder - no problem, just
give me a few more years...
