In my humble oppinion I think that the plan is to get all your major areas
in the high range this includes micronutrients Then you can use a balance
fert .10-10-10. Some put all there areas in excessive and still fertilize I
think that this method will backfire..sometime down the road. Phos. should
have come in two measurements P1 and P2 P1 is available to the plant now.
And p2 is in reserve form. Depending on the manure sheep is high in phos..
The more humus you add to your soil the more available your phos. will be.
Also the ph greatly affects the availibily of phos..6is right on the line
6.5 would be better..I believe that there are no toxic levels of phos.
plants really don't show any increased gain with phos above 70.........but
it is beyond my understanding why but too much of one area can create lock
down and the availability is hindered. If anyone could explain just how
this happens and why that would be
