Oz Update


My 1006 is going great! The first true leaf is huge.
The second true leaf is half open.
The rain we had last night should do them good.
My 990 is very slow, it popped out of the ground and
just stopped. I think once it saw the 1006 it went into
shock, knowing that it couldn't compete with it.
Maybe I should play it some music.
The white flies seem to be under control but I won't rest
for a while yet.

6.59am   Turned off 1000watt lights and heating cables.
7.00 am  Positioned mirrors to make best use of sunlight.
7.30 am. Team of scientists have arrived for work.
                  ( Genetic engineer sick today ).
7.35am. Underground microphone picked up noise in section c ( will closely
                monitor ).
7.45am  Turned off motion detecting laser security system to let snipers
                change shift.
                ( good idea installing system,also kills insects).
7.46am  Turned system back on too early need new sniper ( note. phone Army
                 today ).
8.00am  Adjusted headphones on pumpkin and turned cassette over.
                 ( solar powered walkman working well ).
8.26am  Computer enhanced satalite photos arrive in fax.The hard to get at
                corners are ok.
9.05am  Raining.  Automatic  moisture sensitive umbrella, covers pumpkin
                well.
9.10am  Anti-personel mine exploded, no apparent cause ( could have been
                the  rain )
9.21am  Code red,unauthorized persons approching front door.
9.22am  Code green, removed  religious persons.( note. buy more bullets ).
9.30am  Cloudy,need more sun.( call God tomorrow ).
9.43am  Computer sensing critical temperature inside pumpkin 7-b.
9.44am  Shut down security system
9.45am  Removed blanket covering pumpkin 7-b  ( note. keep grandma out of
                patch )..
9.46am  Security system back on line.
10.11am  Worried. More than normal amount of aircraft flying above.
                   (spys?).
10.27am  Caught computer programer smoking near pumpkin patch( sent him
                   home).
11.00am  Replaced globe in ph alarm.
11.05am  Buddist monk arrives to meditate with pumpkins.
12.03pm Tense moments while sniper takes lunch break.
12.33pm  We can all rest, sniper is back.
1.06pm    Boat plans and crystal catalog arrive in mail.
1.21pm    Fork lift delivered monthly accounts.
1.30pm    Neighbors go out, jump fence and gather leaves.
2.00pm    Book armoured car to transport pumpkin to weigh-off.
2.05pm    Its going to be a long season..
