Hi everybody,
The pumpkins list has changed somewhat, so I'm going to let you know
what's different and give you updated unsubscription information.
Changes:
o Replying to a message goes to the whole list now
o All messages say how to unsubscribe on the bottom now
o Only list members can post to the list, so spamming
will be significantly decreased
o The list address has changed -- messages should now go to
pumpkins@mallorn.com.
o A digest version is now available
The same:
o All of the same people are on the list
o It's the same fun
o It's the same environment
I'm including below the message that new subscribers will see.
And special thanks to Dan Gardner for starting this list in early
1996!

This mailing list deals with Competitive Giant Pumpkin Growing. Topics
for discussion include securing the best seeds, soil preparation,
seed starting, general plant care, fertilizing strategy, insect and
disease protection, and all aspects of weigh-off competitions and
grower associations. In addition to these topics, the list provides
a forum to meet other pumpkin growers worldwide, exchange information
or seeds, and share personal experiences and problems. For additional
